What do I need to rent a Horse Trailer at Scootin' Around AZ
- Valid Drivers license, Vehicle Registration, Proof of Vehicle Insurance that includes liability coverage
(Driver must be the towing vehicle owner, or if renting a vehicle to tow this trailer must purchase & provide proof of additional liability coverage)
- We take cash, Venmo @ScootinAroundAZ, or Credit/Debit card via GoDaddy Payments below "Reserve a Trailer"
- We require a $50 deposit to secure your reservation. This goes towards your rental amount to reduce the total owed but ensures the trailer is secured exclusively for you.
- 7 way trailer plug (I do not carry adapters)
- Electrical Brake Controller
- Frame Mounted receiver hitch on your tow vehicle with 7500 lb capacity drawbar with a 2 5/16" ball
- Your tow vehicle must be weight rated for the trailer you are renting
- We do not provide tie-downs or tack needed to properly secure your horse.
Our horse trailer is equipped with a spare tire, manure fork and a broom to help clean before you return it. There is a water tank available in the tack area but is your responsibility to fill as needed and drain prior to returning.
Trailer is cleaned thoroughly between every use.
Our pick ups and drop offs are by appointment only. Please text 602-686-8482 to check availability and make your reservation.
Please note that text message is preferred and will get the fastest response.
Reservations are not guaranteed without a completed rental agreement and deposit submitted.

Your reservation will not be held without a completed agreement.

***Trailer must remain within the state of Arizona unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Description of the trailer being rented, including current market value and number of horses it is designed to haul.
- Trip Information including rental fee, pickup and return time.
- Proper Use and Trailer Contents (horses only unless mutually agreed upon)
- Rental, Indemnity and Warranties
- Condition and Return of the Trailer
- Renter responsibility for Damage or Loss; Reporting to Police
- Release of Liability
- Renter must have a valid driver's license and adequate insurance that includes at minimum $10,000 liability coverage.
- Renter agrees not to sue to the trailer owner (and any related parties) in connection with use of the trailer.
- Renter agrees to pay the trailer owner's legal fees if the owner is sued in connection withe the renters use of the trailer.

We do allow for some out of state hauling on a case by case basis. However pricing is custom and dependent on mileage traveling. Reach out to michele@scootinaroundaz.com with your mileage starting and destination for pricing.
As we're just getting our business up and running we currently offer one - Trails West Adventure 2H Slant load trailer.
Our rental period is 24 hours. You may return it anytime, including the same day if you choose as long as within 24 hours of agreed upon pickup time noted in the agreement.
Depending on availability we may be able to accommodate weekly for longer-term needs.

- Upon inquiry, you will receive a text regarding availability for your desired date. If you prefer a phone call, that can be arranged but generally we utilize text as this is faster for us since we work full time and have horses of our own.
- Upon agreement of a date/time our Rental Agreement which can be found above on this page; this must be completed and submitted to secure your reservation.
- Once we receive a completed rental agreement you will receive a text with the pickup address & directions.
- If you need help backing or hooking up the trailer please let us know on your Rental Agreement.
- Drop off your trailer where it was picked up.
- Trailer should be cleaned out, free of manure so we can easily wash for the next renter.
